Find it at: Kings Road/Martins Road, Parafield Gardens

A good sized suburban playground out north that was upgraded in 2019, this is a delightful spot for locals. The Reg Groth Reserve playspace features quality equipment for the tweens and below, with a nice sized flying fox to boot.

Plenty of shade from the mature trees and artificial shade covers, plus a BBQ and nice sized grass area makes this a great party park too. The bonus here is the adjacent bike track which provides a good space for mountain/BMX riders of all ages to test their skills.

A great one for the Parafield Gardens locals to save for their next afternoon play date.

  • Find it at: Fairbanks Dr, Paralowie Fairbanks Drive has had a huge upgrade with the completion of a fabulous playground to accompany the recently completed rage3 cage. Not sure what a rage cage is? Its an all-in-one sporting.....cage (funnily enough) where kids can play a variety of sports including basketball rings, soccer goals, cricket stumps, a climbing wall, hopscotch and ball target holes. This playground is a paradise for older kids, featuring a play tower, climbing net, nest swing, carousel, flying fox, water play, and more! There's plenty of open grass for running and playing, along with pathways perfect for bikes and scooters. And to top it off, there are clean and well-maintained toilet facilities - sometimes it's the little things that make all the difference! This was co-funded in partnership with the City of Salisbury and the Australian Government Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program. For other playgrounds in the Northern Suburbs click here

  • Find it at: Brown Terrace, Salisbury Well this looks just a little bit epic doesn't it. The exciting new playspace Salisbury Oval has opened and for the older and more adventurous kids, it is right up their alley thanks to an enormous slide tower that is a challenge to climb but great fun on the way down! Plenty of new amenities to enjoy as well, with the playground also including a flying fox, swings, see saw, carousel, nature play elements, trampoline, sand pit and rock climbing wall. There’s also fitness equipment (decoration we call it) , a multi-use sports court and a grassed area for all the sports. Did we mention the toilets? Because thankfully they have added them here along with a BBQ area and picnic setting. Plenty of parking too along Brown Terrace. Word of warning, it looks stunning but when we went along with a few under 5s, we were a bit disappointed at the lack of things to do. Our crew were so excited but just a tad too small to really enjoy this one. image credit City of Salisbury
