Urban Climb Adelaide is the ultimate indoor adventure for families, welcoming kids from 5 years and up alongside parents who are ready to join in the fun. Set inside a beautifully repurposed cinema, this colourful bouldering gym is designed to get children moving, building confidence and laughing together as they take on the walls.
With seven bouldering walls spread across multiple levels, there are challenges for every age and ability. The kid-friendly climbs are designed with them in mind. Achievable and full of variety, making it easy and satisfying for young adventurers to tackle new heights while parents cheer them on or climb right beside them.
Between climbs, families can take a breather with a coffee or snack from the onsite café, or regroup in the relaxed communal zone. The pro-shop is also handy if little climbers catch the bug and want some gear of their own.
Urban Climb Adelaide is more than just a gym, it’s a welcoming hub where families come together, try something new and leave with a sense of achievement. Whether it’s a rainy day, a school holiday outing or just a weekend activity, it’s a great way to keep kids active, engaged and off the screens.

If you or your kids love cricket, footy or just a bit of an adrenaline rush, you NEED to do RoofClimb at Adelaide! It's also great for conquering fears, some family bonding or as an activity to do with interstate or overseas visitors. Got a birthday coming up this year for a tricky to buy for kid?...this is it! (Note: children 8-15 need an adult to climb with, but that's all the more fun for you!) We gave RoofClimb a go recently and loved it! There are a range of RoofClimb adventures you can choose from including day climbs, twilight climbs, or even watch sporting events from the roof! You will be in a group, guided by a RoofClimb leader with an earpiece in so they can give you some commentary and cool facts about the Oval and of course let you know all the safety bits and pieces about your climb. Speaking of safety - we aren't that keen on heights but felt completely safe and at ease the whole time during our climb. Your leader will take you through a practise of the "lean out" which is the iconic pose you see in the all the photos, but…

Shelly's Kiosk is a light, bright and vibrant beachside 'must-visit' for Adelaide families seeking a quality bite to eat with a side of beach adventure. With a very deliberate focus on feeding kids well, the beautifully restored venue has held on to glimpses of 'Noonies' from days gone by. You can now enjoy the hospitality here seven days a week from 7am right through to an evening meal or sunset cocktail! We are so thrilled to see what was always an iconic part of the Semaphore community redeveloped and reopen, and right in time for summer! Just metres away from the bustling upgraded Semaphore South playground and the iconic Semaphore Steam Train (which runs on every Sunday + public holidays in October to April + daily in school holidays October to April except Tuesdays and Thursdays). This place really does have it all going on. This charming kiosk serves as the perfect pit stop for both kids and parents. With the sound of waves lapping nearby and the smell of fresh sea air and coffee, it’s a great place to kick off your day with some morning caffeine and a play, or an inviting spot to refuel after a day…
