Ahhh mini golf, miniature golf, putt-putt, mini putt, 'the place where dad gets angry and over-competitive'. Known by many names and enjoyed by all (except parents of 6 year olds who think they are playing hockey and belts balls at a million miles an hour all over the place), this shrunken down version of golf is renowned the world over as the ideal place for families to set aside their differences and to come together in joyful and friendly competition for an hour or so. That is obviously a total lie, with this in fact being the area in which the competitive beasts within most kids is awoken, with the slightest 'bending' of the rules usually being loudly called out, resulting in threats of 'behave or there will be no mcflurry on the way home'. All that friendly family banter aside, we love us some mini golf. From the whacky course designs to fact all ages can have a go, there is so much to love about this as an ideal family friendly activity. You just need to curb that one person in your family who becomes a little bit too aggressive and competitive with club and ball in their…
Find it at: Burbridge Road, Westbeach Complementing the playground, Stage 1 of the upgraded area at Apex Park caters for a wide variety of ages and is great for catch ups, parties, a general play or hit of tennis. The fully fenced playground features lots of equipment over a quite large area. It is a bark chip surface, so with considering if unsteady on your feet, and there is unfortunately no accessible play here. If that doesn't rule you out, It's a bloody great park worth driving out of your area for. Best ages, honest opinion, there is not a lot of play for the under 3 yo's to play independently and not much for the 9 yo + in the play ground, apart from the oversized nest swing. Personally it makes a nice change here to NOT have water play. Some of us don't like it, especially in winter. Featuring lots of small to mid scale climbing opportunities including stairs, mini rock climb wall, a rope spider web tower, a mini spinning climbing frame and lots more. You will also find normal swings and the oversized nest swing. Throughout the equipment the kids will find fun activity games that…

They have also retained natural vegetation. Set on the unique coastal precinct of West Beach Parks, it also includes a kiosk (Oceanique Kiosk), shelter, BBQ, shade, toilets and other amenities. While there is no giant slide centerpiece here, the climbing structure is a huge drawcard taking pride of place in the middle of the play space. There is a smaller slide set on a hill, a great little selection of swings and some inground trampolines that have just the right amount of spring in them and ample opportunity to run, balance and play, just meters from the beach. Here is what this one has to offer; Rope climbing structure Small slide In-ground trampolines Swings (including baby swing and nest swing) Pack the kids bikes, as the new SAPOL Mock Roadway is right near by.
