Vaselina lives the quiet life, working as a receptionist in a very tall apartment block. But all that changes when she is forced to confront a terrifying resident who plays her music far too loudly and eats jelly babies with her mouth open.

Direct from a sell-out season at the 2018 Edinburgh International Children’s Festival, join Windmill Theatre Co for this uproarious musical journey for the whole family, starring Christine Johnston from The Kransky Sisters.

  • The Capri is an independent not-for-profit cinema run by a network of generous volunteers. Built in 1941, it is heritage listed and houses the Theatre Organ Society’s unique world class theatre pipe organ. This is a real movie experience for those who love that old-school cinema experience, whilst still retaining those little luxuries we are now used too (the upstairs seats are new and SUPER comfy). The decor in the ground floor and mezanine areas is just beautiful and is like a step back into movie history, with posters of all the old Hollywood stars from yesteryear. The volunteers do an amazing job and the whole complex is in pristine condition. The organ plays before some sessions (kids sessions on Wednesday and Thursday in school hols as well!) and is absolutely worth a listen, with all the pipework visible on both sides of the main stage. The little kids will get a kick out the big organ lifting out of the stage trap door too! The tickets here are well priced ($12 for kids is not too bad at all but always check out for cheaper deals on Scoopon they tell us!) and the quality of the movie experience compares…
