For $500 ($50 per child) you also get your own space within the fenced garden behind the cafe, which is a glorious space that really blew us away. It isn’t totally blocked off just for the party, but that was not an issue for us at all while we lounged around on the lawn enjoying the sun in front of our party area. 2 parents as part of the party package get entry into the park itself, and extra parents can explore the park for $26 (discounted from $32)
The food was more than we could possibly eat, with 2 food packages on offer, which are essentially a nuggets and chips OR a sandwich option. We went the nuggets but the sandwiches would also be top shelf we expect. Both options offer fairy bread, juice/water and a fruit cup.
We must say, we just loved the relaxed nature of the party here, with no structure as such and the timeline really flexible. So provide a time for food to come out around your own plan and off you go! For us as a guide, we spent the first 2hrs of our party in the party area (you get roughly 2.5hrs in the party space) and then packed up before setting off on an afternoon with the family exploring the park. A proper magnificent day that everyone raved about.
For the adults, definitely get the adult platters, which for us were a large fruit platter and a sampler platter featuring all your fave cheeses and nibbles. Get these to come out shortly after the party starts and everyone will love grazing these while watching the kids play on the lawn. We also brought some lawn decorations (balloons and confetti is banned in the park for obvious reasons) for our dino themed party, and when we packed up we were able to store our cold food in the kitchen fridge while we explored the park.
It truly was quite a magical experience and one that we will never forget.
