This is a little park located on a quiet street with minimal traffic.
There is a low fence to slow children down before getting near the closest road but it is not fenced in so supervision is necessary.
This park has a shaded seating area with a rubbish bin. There are no cooking facilities so it’s perfect for a picnic lunch.
The playground is in good condition and the equipment is great for toddlers and younger kids. As a grown up I go on the circle swing, the spinning post and can even get down the slide!
If you’re into ball sports there’s a nice large grass area beside the playground for an afternoon of fun.
Find it at: The Crescent, Edwardstown Nestled in the heart of Edwardstown is a 2021 built play space that is a nice little stop off to break up a busy day. Plenty of equipment for the 4-12yo crowd and lots of shade from the nearby trees. No toilets at this one but you will find; Picnic set Bench seat Drinking fountain Swing Platform with slide Rope challenge Seesaw Mini soccer goals Plenty of grassed area as well, which is also shaded from the huge trees, making this a great little picnic spot for the kids to eat their packed lunches.
When we think of the playgrounds for toddlers we think of one key thing FENCES. Anything else is pretty much a bonus! We also look for swings, toilets and, even better, a nice shaded space. These things are not always possible (why don't ALL playgrounds have fences ALL the way around?!), but check out these playgrounds around Adelaide that we think your kids- and you- will love. Smaller budget community skate park, some interesting features enjoyed by my younger boys on BMX and scooter but the transitions on the northern wallride feature weren’t great. Roll in, quarter pipe, little button mushroom and raised box were interesting. Situated around a well manicured football oval. Playground adjacent with climbing equipment, a small flying fox, swings, picnic table & clean toilets. Fairly quiet. Find it at 38 Bagster Rd, Salisbury North [wpgmza id="138" cat="1" marker="875" zoom="16"]
