With something for kids of all ages we think you're going to love it too. There is a lot of equipment in a medium sized space so you can keep kids of various ages happy without running all over the town! To get to the point quickly, what we loved about Mondbury Civic Park playground : The all access wheelchar friendly/seated carousel spinner. Even though it's big, a couple of 5 year olds can manage to spin it with 10 kids onboard! The different areas for different ages/abilities. The 3 story high climbing castle with various slides, bridges, climbing nets and more. The awesome multiperson 'snake swing' as out kids called it.   • Find it at: Smart Road, Modbury An exciting new development is progressing in Modbury, on the corner of Smart Road and Australia Avenue. Australia Reserve is being upgraded by Council and will feature an inviting playground and lush green reserve space. Architecturally designed two-storey townhouses with sustainability features will frame the park. The Council maintained playground is being installed and includes swings, a climbing net, balancing elements and a slide. The infrastructure and foundation works are on schedule for the ‘euca’ housing development, ready for housing construction to commence later in the year. Landscaping and planting are occurring in selected areas to ensure well-established green spaces when the project is completed.

  • Find it at: Hargrave Street, Modbury Heights There's a BIG oval with cricket pitch which is great for a run around, kick of the ball or a full size game of cricket or footy. If you like your parks with wide open spaces, shady trees and a shaded playground this is a great option in the Northern suburbs. The shaded playground is great for little ones with a nice little selection of equipment including climbing frame, walls and nets, monkey bars, slides, rockers and a nest swing. There are toilets on site, BBQ and a picnic bench so you can plan to spend a few hours here. Plenty of parking too!
