The Renmark Club is a brilliant spot to relax with a glass of wine and a meal. Its town centre and riverfront location is the ideal place to meet with family and friends and enjoy all the perks life out here affords. This extensive community club is attractive day and night and easily caters for the significant weekend crowd whilst simultaneously hosting a Wedding in the Function Centre adjacent.

There are several sections to choose from for dining, drinking and catching up with friends. People gathered at the Sports Bar in the front, enjoying the numerous wrap around lounges and warming themselves by the fire place while they enjoyed their drinks and socialising. One look at the video games however and our boys beelined it to the sizeable and well appointed Kid’s Room. We made our way outside and settled in on the well heated alfresco area and took a moment to enjoy a local bottle of bubbles. It has expansive views over the water and the calming and unpopulated tree lined riverbank opposite.

Despite the growing crowd our meals were served promptly. The kid’s schnitzel was large but of course, still only an entrée to the ice cream dessert included in their menu! The seafood looked great, but my kangaroo was cooked to perfection, and I am 100% confident we made the right choice dining here tonight (and conveniently the following night).

You know that moment when everyone cranes their neck at the sound of someone pulling up in a nice sports car? Imagine the envy I felt at the Renmark Club when one departing party joyously strolled down onto the dock, gracefully stepped off and into their stunning ski boat, fired up the V8 and disappeared off into the night. What a lifestyle!

Open for meals 7 days a week, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  • Renmark is the largest (and possibly prettiest?) town in South Australia's Riverland and it is a great base for exploring the Riverland with kids. Renmark makes a beautiful family weekend or regional SA holiday break, with so much for the whole family to see and do, a visit with the kids is a must for your bucket list! We did the trip in around three hours from Adelaide. We recently spent some time enjoying the FREE waterplay in the town centre, on the riverfront. Add a visit to your Riverland with Kids itinerary! You'll also find an excellent visitor information centre here, along with picture perfect lawns and gardens, a paddle steamer to explore, bike hire and probably our favourite free Riverland activity - the driverless hop on hop off bus that loops the town of Renmark! We LOVED the free water play feature captured in our images below. The meals at the Renmark Club were great too (and trust me not all Riverland clubs are created equal when it comes to food quality, we tried a few).

  • We recently visited South Australia’s Riverland for an extra-long weekend. Having visited the area before we chose Renmark again for its beautiful riverside location and holiday village feel. We decided to leave the caravan home this time and splash out for just a smidge more convenience and stay at the luxurious Renmark River Villas, hosted by Boats and Bedzzz. The accommodation options are great! Boats and Bedzzz host two modern 3-bedroom homes and can accommodate up to 6 or 8 people each. If your party exceeds that why not book both? The homes are adjoining and have a shared fence and gate which can of course be opened up, providing everybody access to the beautiful, heated pool and waterfall in Villa B. In order to fully ease into the holiday we postponed cooking on their Webber Q and 600g Country Style Rib Eye for the first night and made the easy 10 minute walk along the riverbank to the town centre and the Renmark Club for dinner. Past the possums and the rose gardens, past the fountains and the paddle steamer, with the beautiful pink setting sun off to our right. Our return to these lovely homes was welcoming and…

  • If you are looking for a home away from home during your South Aussie Riverland stay, then you need to check out The River Block! This riverfront accommodation in Berri has three bedrooms, a dishwasher, hardwood floors (no worrying about the kids ruining the carpet!) and lots of luxurious touches to make your trip both relaxing and comfortable. The River Block is perched atop the riverbank of a private lagoon with so much fun to be had! Go kayaking (two are provided, just BYO lifejackets), do a bit of yabbying, or just sit back and enjoy the views. The kids will love frolicking on a stretch of lawn - chairs on the terrace means that you can sit back and supervise with a drink in hand while they play. If you want to get out and explore, head to Berri which is just a short 7km drive away. Head up to the Berri Lookout Tower for some great views, take the kids to the Monash Adventure Playground or have lunch at one of the local cafes such as River Jacks or the Berri Hotel. At the end of the day, cook up dinner on the BBQ, have a wine on…

  • Find it at: HIgh Street. Morgan We love a themed playground. Anything with a train is pretty much a certain winner with most kids, so a playground with a train AND a paddle steamer to climb in and on is double the fun! You'll find this playground in the Riverland town of Morgan about 2 hours drive from Adelaide. Choose your method of ascent (stairs, rope ladder or climbing wall) and scale to the top of the paddle steamer for great views of the Murray.Across the train track you'll find more play and climbing equipment including slides, swings, climbing walls, naughts and crosses and a firemans pole. There's some great nature play elements in this park with lots of large rocks, logs and stepping stones dotted around that kids will love to climb and balance on. There's also a sandpit. There's a huge sloped grass area with room to kick a ball and also get some good speed up on a roly poly down the hill. There's BBQ facilities and picnic benches and toilets are available near the river. Local shops are nearby so you can grab some snacks and a drink on the way there.
