The St Albans Playground and Reserve upgrade was completed in December 2024, creating a vibrant and engaging space for the community to enjoy. The new playground features a variety of exciting equipment including

  • Spring rocker
  • Balance rail
  • Monkey bars
  • Mound scaling rope
  • Timber steppers

The upgrade also included a new picnic setting with shelter, bench seat, and drink fountain A large play shade is on the plans for the next phase too.

  • Salisbury Skate Park

    Smaller budget community skate park, some interesting features enjoyed by my younger boys on BMX and scooter but the transitions on the northern wallride feature weren’t great. Roll in, quarter pipe, little button mushroom and raised box were interesting. Situated around a well manicured football oval.     Find it at: Cowell Foreshore Precinct, Thompson Drive, Cowell Cowell Foreshore Precinct underwent a $9 million upgrade in 2023 with the addition of an aquatic playground featuring a Splash Park and Water Slides, a Basketball Court, a Jumping Pillow and increased car parking (including long parks) for all those caravanning families! Cowell is a beautiful coastal town situated on the Franklin Harbour, approximately 490kms (around 5 hours drive) north-west of Adelaide. A popular place for fishing activities due to its sheltered waters of the harbour, Cowell offers so much more than just Oysters and Fish! The Franklin Cowell Foreshore precinct redevelopment has seen the creation of the Cowell Water Park alongside the Cowell Lions Park.   • Hazelmere Playground and Reserve, Glengowrie

    This local playground /park is suitable for a mixture of age groups however the play equipment only caters for toddlers. The equipment features a small swing set including baby swing, 2 small slippery dips , a swinging hammock , climbing area and a couple of small play equipment. Half the area is covered by shade .What is great about this park/reserve is that the play equipment area is fenced off, has a good size grassed area and a half key basketball court. Within this area you also have the use of toilets and BBQ facilities. What I also like about this park is that outside the fenced playground area you also have the use of tennis courts and for the pooch lovers there is a huge dog park /sports field. It even has off street parking. Why not bring the family, put a sausage on the BBQ, have a hit of tennis or try for a slam dunk on the basketball key whilst you also get to keep the pooch happy at the dog park.
