Love a peaceful playground? easy parking? a convenient pit stop?

Baroda Avenue Reserve Playground in Netley is a little hidden gem in the west. Ideal for an easy boredom buster for younger kids, a convenient playground for multiple little humans and without having to find a park or walk too far at all.

The play area is on a quiet suburban street and is unfenced. A shade cloth covers the main play area and is most suitable for younger kids under five and those beginning to navigate the playground equipment by themselves.

The equipment has: swings, spring rider, slides, climbing and balancing equipment, spinning table and a HUGE flying fox if you do bring a dare devil along!

A huge grass area also promotes a quiet picnic spot (and you may even be lucky enough to spot a plane take off or landing) as well as a great space to kick the footy around.

Please note there are is no public toilets, seating or BBQ facilities.

The centre piece of Balham Ave Reserve is a pirate-themed multi-purpose unit including a rope climb, slide and monkey bars and several other pieces of equipment which I don’t know the names for but were enjoyed by my three and five-year-old sons! Lucky we love a challenge and found this little beauty. As soon as I entered the gate of this playground I just loved the vibe. I could hear the kids playing next door at the Kindy and could see that this space catered for the toddlers and junior primary kids. The toddlers have lots of grass to run around on and a variety of things to keep them happy and entertained. The favourite bouncy animals, sand pit, the 4 seat bouncy sea saw and swing set are just a few. The park features lost of climbing pieces including a rock climbing wall, metal climbing frame and stairs. It also has a few games the kids can play whilst up at the top of the frame. Great news is there are a lot of metal bars at the top of the frame to avoid kids falling down. There are also a few kids games to play once up the top. The stand out feature of this…
