There’s nothing quite like a good old-fashioned country show in South Australia! From fairy floss and showbags to farm animals, rides and wood-chopping, these events bring the whole community together for a weekend of fun.

Country shows are the perfect family day out, kids can pat animals, cheer at the show rings, and enjoy the excitement of sideshow alley, while parents soak up the friendly country atmosphere.

There are currently 48 country shows across the state. Autumn Show Season is held between February and April. Spring Show Season is held between August and November.
