The playground section of the park includes nature themed play equipment including:
Hill slide
Toddler slides
Timber frame swings
Nest swing
Lots of wooden climbing and balancing logs and structures
Wooden play “kitchen”
Water pump
Sand play
Another great feature of this park is the bike track built into the hill above the park. Kids will love cutting laps around this track, and you can then take a nice flat ride along the beachfront afterwards
Although there are no shade sails over the playground itself (yet?) there is a large undercover picnic area and also a number of small shelters around the perimeter of the park for shade. There’s also a nice big tree at one end of the park with some block seats for mums and dads to sit and watch. There are also public toilets available onsite.
It’s a small playground but it’s a good one. If you need a pit stop on a car trip or staying in one of the surrounding Yorke Peninsula towns pop in for a play!
Find it at: Dean Drive, Barmera It's a huge space with plenty of adult seating and a couple of bbq's. The equipment caters to a range of age groups and even has a little mini bike track so bring along a bike or scooter. There's heaps of parking and a toilet block across the road. It's not fenced and Lake Bonney is across the road so you will need to know where the children are at all times to keep them safe. We particularly loved the five way swing (and there are a whole bunch of other swings too) and the suspension bridge, plus the cubby houses with underground 'speaker phones'. Info about bike track and space, and footy goal posts etc

Image credit: City of Playford This park is part of a nature reserve, with a small playground that includes a slide, spinner, swings and some cool climbing/balancing equipment Image credit: City of Playford It's a great area for a run around, kick of the ball or somewhere you can sit with the dog (on leash) while the kids have a play Image credit: City of Playford There's not many facilities around though, a bench seat and a rubbish bin is about it. No toilets or shade Thanks to Amy for this playground review 36 Seavington Road, Elizabeth Park[wpgmza id="138" cat="1" marker="559" zoom="16"]
