Find it at: Essex Crescent, Croydon Park Following its partial closure for the South Road upgrade, Polonia Reserve has re-opened into a magnificent new playground, which features one of the most eye-catching designs of any playground in the state. The Polonia Reserve upgrade includes an open kick about lawn, play space and storm water detention area. The huge 7-metre-tall, 12-metre-wide soccer ball playground sculpture, built by local business Iguana Creative, features three levels, two slides, a climbing structure, a lookout platform, tessellated climbing steps, fire poles, an interactive ticket booth, and exterior illumination. The soccer ball play element is not just a fun addition to this new reserve but also pays homage to the area's history. Before moving up the road to the newly constructed Regency Reserve, Polonia Reserve was home to Croydon Football Club since 1950, and before that was home to Polonia Soccer Club. We can't wait to make this a local hangout and it will be an absolute hit with the locals.

Or does it just need our kids to ride it seventy three trillion times to break it in? Not sure but he SLOW. Featuring new toilets, BBQs and seating plus an abundance of green grass and large shade trees, we are adding this to or bigger kids playgrounds and party park category ASAP. Located on busy Henley Beach Rd and with no fencing (but a generous 100m dash zone before hitting the traffic we guess…..) you need to watch the runners. While this new fancy space is majority geared to those who are school aged and above, there is a small toddler play area that has since been added, adjacent the main play space. The older style fully fenced play equipment on White Avenue across the park has now been fully removed. You’ll…
Find it at: Ballara St, Mile End Mile End Common is just off Victoria Ave and Bagshaw Way, Mile End. Tucked away just off Sir Donald Bradman Drive, it's a lovely green space with great play equipment for youngsters. With equipment aimed mainly at the over 5s, you will find a large climbing tower with tube side, swings, climbing rope pyramid and in-ground trampolines. There are also plenty of trees and open space to play around on in the common, a single ring half court basketball court, a paved and covered rotunda, a gas bbq and public toilets. The park is not fenced and while there isn't much local traffic, care should be taken that kids don't venture far from the play equipment. A great little West Adelaide playground in the inner suburbs.
