They have a fantastic new resort style pool! This huge pool is 250,000 litres and 65m around. One half is under shade and there’s also plenty of poolside seating, sun lounges and picnic tables. The main pool starts at just 10cm deep so little ones can splash play, right down to 1.8m at the deepest point. The original pool will also remain open giving guests two areas to swim.
Splash Harbor waterpark featuring giant hurricane slide and double tipping bucket is super popular with all guests young and old!. It is believed the vortex slide and double bucket are the first of their kind ever installed in a holiday park in Australia!
Located on Bay Rd, just 5 minutes from the beach and a few minutes more to the centre of Victor Harbor this spacious 22-acre park offers a selection of self-contained units and cabin accommodation as well as spacious powered and unpowered sites for camping, caravans and motorhomes.
The cabin accommodation ranges from affordable budget accommodation right up to their very comfortable 3 bedroom Heysen cabins which have prime spot at the park, overlooking the grassed pump track area as well as being right near the fantastic recreation area. The Heysen cabin sleep up to 8 people making them a great option for family holidays in Victor Harbor. Their 2 bedroom Hindmarsh cabins are also in a great location and are fully accessible for those with mobility issues.

Kids in Adelaide Review
We recently spent three fun-filled nights at Victor Harbor Holiday Park, and wow, what a fantastic time we had! We shared two Yilki cabins with another family, which were the perfect budget-friendly option. Nestled beside the playground, they struck a great balance between privacy and convenience. There was so much space for the kids to ride their bikes, kick the footy, and even play a few rounds of cricket.
The water park was definitely the main attraction, with five kids in tow, it’s no wonder. Even though it wasn’t an overly warm weekend, they couldn’t get enough of the three slides. The vortex slide was a huge hit, sending the kids (and dad) into fits of giggles! They went up and down so many times that I’m surprised their legs didn’t end up sore. The main lagoon pool wasn’t heated and was definitely on the chilly side (brrrr!), but we could imagine how refreshing it would be in the summer. The smaller heated pool was a bit crowded, but it still worked out well for some splash time.
One of our favourite activities was hopping on the pedal karts and zipping around the park, waving at fellow holidaymakers. We also enjoyed the free 9-hole mini golf, which was a hit with all ages – definitely a fun way to spend some time together. The kids loved the playroom, where they could colour, watch movies, and lounge on bean bags. There’s a games arcade, although we quickly discovered that those claw machines can be a bit of a rip-off! The jumping pillow was out of action during our stay (it’s being replaced), but the little ones still had a blast on the playground, while the older kids enjoyed the pump track on their bikes and scooters. We also loved the BBQ area and enjoyed a delicious breakfast of bacon and eggs one morning, followed by a BBQ dinner in the evening. Next time, we’re so firing up that pizza oven and going all out on a DIY pizzas!
Unfortunately, the kiosk was closed while we were there, but with all the great food options in Victor Harbor, it wasn’t a problem. School holiday extras, like kids’ activities or an outdoor cinema on weekends would have been a fun addition to keep everyone entertained. That said, we did sneak in a gin tasting for the adults – cheers to that!
To sum it up, Victor Harbor Holiday Park is a gem for families seeking fun and relaxation. We’re already planning our next visit!
