With something for kids of all ages we think you're going to love it too. There is a lot of equipment in a medium sized space so you can keep kids of various ages happy without running all over the town! To get to the point quickly, what we loved about Mondbury Civic Park playground : The all access wheelchar friendly/seated carousel spinner. Even though it's big, a couple of 5 year olds can manage to spin it with 10 kids onboard! The different areas for different ages/abilities. The 3 story high climbing castle with various slides, bridges, climbing nets and more. The awesome multiperson 'snake swing' as out kids called it. The 3 different spinning options for different aged kids. The softfall rubber underneat most of the play equipment (sand under some too). The shade cover to the smaller kids play equipment.   • *NOTE: The Modbury Skate Park will close from Feb 3rd for 3-4 weeks during some upgrades and new lighting installation*The Modbury Skate park near Waterworld at Ridgehaven is a great community plaza catering for inline skating, skate boards, BMX and scooters. Thanks to a half million dollar overhaul of the area in 2018, the plaza hosts terrain for various skill levels and is well loved by locals. There is also seating,free wifi, picnic tables, lawn areas, a skate bowl, terraced walls, ramps and ledges along with shade available. In a cool trial for the first six months of 2020, the Modbury Skate Park is trialing a solar bench, with the capacity to charge up to 10 phones at once! The free trial follows an agreement between the City of Tea Tree Gully and Adelaide-based company Specialised Solar Solutions who will monitor and maintain the equipment during the trial.  The skate park was selected for the trial site due to the number of people who use the site over extended periods.
