This recently upgraded playground at Montreal Avenue Reserve in Novar Gardens has some great little play pieces for toddler and early school aged kids. It has lots of bright colours, so its hard not to miss it when you arrive. With lots of grass, and some soft landings in the right places, this is great play space for the younger kids The playground features some good climbing pieces more suitable to the younger ages and a dual slippery dip that can be accessed by a bridge and is easy to teach the little ones to walk over the bridge. It has a small spider web climbing frame along with a mini rock climb wall. Other than the slide the most popular piece for us was the nest and toddler swing. The playground also features a bouncy animal along with a bright yellow sea saw. It has a little "shop" nestled under the slides which was serving up delicious coffee and cake, which only cost me a few bark chips! Great little space for imaginative play. Montreal Avenue Reserve is surrounded with trees so another fab area for the kids to play amongst and HEAPS of space to kick a ball…

Keeping in touch with the environment isupgraded local playground at Sheidow Park. A small quaint upgraded play space area has been added to the existing reserve and allows the local kids a place to play on the equipment or amongst the existing trees and open grass area. The play ground features a mound slippery dip nestled amongst rocks and shrubs where the kids can choose to climb up on the stairs or the rocks depending on skill levels. The nest swing is always a favourite and the kids will also find a rope climbing cone shaped piece of equipment along with a sea saw made from a log keeping with its back to nature theme . For the little ones you will find a timber bouncy piece of equipment . Positioned around the play space are logs for the kids to climb and walk along . A concrete path surrounds the play area ready for bikes , scooters or skateboards. This play ground has NO shade , NO toilets , NO BBQ facilities or NO fence so a nice upgraded spot for a play if you live locally. We love the back to nature theme. Suitable for toddlers and younger…

Wow this is a huge area for the kids to run wild and let off some energy. With the new playground upgrade in June 2017 this reserve/playground/skate park is worth the visit. As soon as I got to the gate I was super excited to see the colourful equipment painted green and orange that awaits you. The bright equipment is a fabulous add to this existing skate park. A multi level climbing tower is the main structure to this playground and caters for all ages First level is for the little ones and has a little slide whilst the big kids can keep climbing the tower and enjoy the tubular slide that looks like a small water slide. Along with the colourful tower this playground has a swing set including a baby swing, a little see saw, a climbing area with monkey bars and a few other pieces for the little ones to play on with most pieces protected by the shade cloth. Not far from the play equipment you will find fitness equipment, followed by a basketball ring then the Skate park. Look further a field and right down the other end of this reserve is a cricket net,…
