Green Monkeys is a volunteer run Community Play Café where, for a gold coin donation, you can bring your pre-school age kids along to play on their awesome 2 storey, indoor, netted playground.

Open Mondays and Thursdays during the school term from 9:30am – 11:30am, the Green Monkeys program operates similarly to a playgroup.  They love to support parents in our community by making a safe place to hang out and drink some delicious coffee while your kids play.  Designed to suit children under the age of 6, the playground features two slides, a tunnel, a helicopter cockpit, spinners, punching bags, a swing and more.  A toddler play mat and toys are also available for younger kids.

Parents do need to bring socks for their children to utilise the play equipment, however they have some available for purchase if needed.  Barista made coffee and light snacks are also available for purchase in the cafe at very reasonable prices.

  • Brighton Beachfront Holiday Park (formerly Brighton Caravan Park) has one of the most spectacular beachfront locations of any park we've stayed at in S.A. Located just south of the Seacliff SLSC and literally steps to the beach it's the ideal spot for a family holiday without having to travel too far from home. Swimming, sailing, stand up paddle boarding, fishing, diving, kayaking...... if you love the water, the ocean and the beach you'll LOVE this park. We recently stayed in one of their 2 Bedroom Seabreeze villas which are located in an elevated position at the back of the park with sunset views from your deck and close to all the park amenities including the brand new 9 hole mini golf course, playground, games room, kiosk and activities room where you'll find FREE kids activities during the school holidays. The park also offers other 1 and 2 bedroom cabin options as well as a range of sites for camping and caravanning. It's also pet friendly - so you can take the fur babies too! It's a very popular spot during summer and the school holidays and we loved watching our kids make new friends while cutting laps on the pedal…

  • As we all know, teens and tweens are in that tough spot of wanting to grow up and be adults but also (sometimes secretly) wanting to embrace what is left of their childhood. It can be hard finding activities that they actually WANT to do and aren't too cool for, right?! When you're looking for activities to do with your tweens and teens, you probably want to make sure they tick three key boxes: They aren't too expensive (so they can bring a friend perhaps) Keep them mentally or physically active (so you can avoid the dreaded, "I'm bored. This sucks.") Something that is supervised, but where you could still allow them their "independence" while keeping an eye on them!
