Where to Eat at Illuminate Adelaide 2026

City, Family Friendly Eats

Illuminate Adelaide isn’t just a feast for the eyes it’s a treat for the taste buds too, and a great opportunity to share a few plates with mates!

Beyond the lights, there is much to discover and enjoy on the food and beverage scene. From over 30 of our city’s vibrant participating bricks and mortar hospitality hosts, to the expanded network of City Lights food and beverage pop up pit stops (replacing Base Camp), families can eat, drink and explore their way around the event and our city after dark.

City Lights Pitstops will be found at LUMEN Bar, Art Gallery of South Australia, Lot Fourteen, the brand new Rymill Park Kiosk (our early prediction hottest top pick) and the State Library of South Australia.

A bold new suite of immersive dining experiences will also push the boundaries of traditional hospitality for your date nights, girlfriends catch ups or celebrations sans kids. Think intimate cheese and caviar masterclasses after dark at the Central Market, an ocean to plate immersion at Adelaide Convention Centre or perhaps check out Sofitel’s Symphony of Senses, featuring French inspired canape’s, premium beverages and a live performance by the ASO.

Stay tuned for our pick of Illuminate Eats in 2026.

It champions our best restaurants, bars, wineries and experiences, all wrapped up in a polished, easy-to-use format that feels both aspirational and approachable. For our Kids in Adelaide community, this magazine comes into it's own when the kids are not the priority. Think milestone birthdays, anniversaries, visiting grandparents, or those rare and precious date nights or nights out with the girls where you’re ready to say: ditch the kids eat free… we are going out, baby! When you’re more accustomed to choosing venues based on playground proximity and nugget quality, Adelaide Dining Magazine helps you reconnect with what’s happening right now in the restaurant and cocktail scene, without hours of scrolling or second-guessing.
