Regional Playgrounds

Going on holiday with your family doesn’t just mean sightseeing & fighting over who gets the top bunk in the cabin. It also means discovering some awesome regional playgrounds!

And when we say awesome, we mean it! So many regional towns have gone above & beyond to create amazing playspaces in their towns. Often with the help of Lions Clubs or Rotary groups funding, there has usually been some serious thought put into the type of equipment, plus toilets, shade, bbqs & other little extras.

Often in regional South Australia these great playgrounds are accompanied by something like a pump track, skate park, or oval. So it’s easy to spend a good few hours wearing the kids out! And let’s not forget how good country bakeries are…there is usually one close by!

So before you head off on your next family holiday, have a look at our round up of regional playgrounds below. Don’t forget to rest every two hours when you’re driving – playgrounds are the best way for everyone to stretch their legs mid trip!

Enjoy & don’t forget to tag Kids In Adelaide in your photos!
