To say we were excited to test out this new entry to the Aussie pram market was an understatement! A locally owned family business brings in these German engineered strollers, which will make your life oh so easy with the incredible storage options, phenomenal size and outstanding versatility. With single or dual seat modes (with a weight limit of 100kg!), plus options for baby capsules and bassinet modes, this will truly serve you from birth to school age. For us with a now 4yo, for a family day trip (think the zoo or city trip) this has been a life saver. Roomy enough for the toddler plus shopping, it will quickly become an essential part of a family adventure.

We were lucky enough to be gifted a couple of washable rugs from Aussie business Oh Happy Home and not only are they deliciously soft 100% cotton, they’re also Australian designed, ethically made and MACHINE WASHABLE!! Yep, you can just throw them in your machine at home on a gentle cycle and they come out good as new.

Have you been umm-ing and ahh-ing about getting your kids a phone but feel like they’re just not quite old enough yet? We might have found your solution!
We’ve been letting our 9 year old ride to her sports training a couple of streets away from our house. She has loved that little bit of independence and knowing how safe that ride is I wasn’t too concerned with her getting there and back safely.
UNTIL
A few weeks ago she was heckled by a few teenagers stirring up trouble. She got scared and didn’t want to ride past them so she went a different way. Got a bit lost, got very upset and long story short ENDED UP IN A CAR WITH A STRANGER!!!! (insert vomit noise here)
It was an ordeal…….not as much for her as it was for me.

After asking around and doing a bit of online research we got in touch with the folks at Spacetalk watch to see if a couple of the KIA kids could put them to the test.
9 year old Winnie and Harvey have had them for about 3 weeks now and they’re loving them. Not only do they make and receive phone calls and text messages, they also have an SOS function as well as on demand location updates and easy to use and strict parental controls.
What they DON’T have is social media or direct access to the internet making them ideal for kids aged 5 – 12 as a stepping stone to a phone.

Honestly, what family doesn’t need help with their digital wellbeing? Enter Inchargebox! We have had our eyes on this product for a while and in the lead up to the summer holidays, we jumped at the opportunity to give a couple of different sized Inchargebox’s a go.

We are loving the centralised charging point for every one / every thing. Tech clutter be gone. I don’t know about you, but kids seem to move chargers around like nobody’s business here and that’s been completely eliminated too. If your device needs charging, it goes in the box, end of story.
