Golding Oval Reserve BMX Pump Track is one of four new tracks developed and built in 2025/2026 by the City of Salisbury Council. This track officially opened in December of 2025 and our 5 year old and 8 year old KiA kids were excited to check it out as soon as they could. This asphalt track includes humps and berms creating a loop suitable for all ages and experiences. My 5 year old was confident attempting this track so I would ultimately recommend this track would be suitable for children ages 4 and above. Perfect for balance bikes, bikes, BMX;s and scooters. We had an absolute ball and stayed longer than we had actually anticipated. There is one sheltered picnic table for parents to sit and supervise however there is no shade at all on the track itself.

But wait…. there’s more! Golding Oval Reserve is also home to the Ingle Farm little Athletics club so the oval features runnings tracks, jumping and competition courses. There is also a mock roadway ( a little outdated at the moment and needs a freshen up of paint) but our kids still absolutely loved it. Complete with little roadways, round-a-bouts and parking spots. And don’t forget the playground, which is shaded (yay) and consists of swings, slides, money bars and tunnels.

And just when you thought this place had it all…. it also has a fully fenced dog park located on the corner of the reserve. It literally caters for all members of the family (even our four legged friends). Unfortunately, the only thing missing that we would have loved to have seen is toilets.

  • Adelaide has a number of places that you can take your kids to learn to ride a bike, scooter or skateboard. Some of them are speciality bike safety centres where you can learn about road rules, giving way, understanding road signs etc and some of them are playgrounds or parks that have great flat, concrete areas perfect for learning to ride and not get run over by the big kids in the skatepark or have to worry about too much other bike traffic. • Find it at: Barina Ave, Para Vista This playground was updated in 2015 and it a really cool little hidden playground gem we were told about by one of our Facebook friends. (Thanks Chris!) This is a nice big open space with room to run around, walking paths, shaded and fully fenced playground, tables and bench seats and even a dirt BMX track.Playground equipment includes toddler and nest swings but most of the equipment is better suited to primary/older kids including see saw, spinners a cool slide that you have to climb a rope net to access and a flying fox! There's also some work out equipment outside of the fenced area including a jumping machine. Older kids will love it, but watch out for little ones fingers.
